The Little Leaf Library

When I was pregnant with my first sweet baby girl, my husband and I started reading to her while she was still growing in my belly. I knew she could hear me, and I wanted my husband to feel connected with her too. So, we read together night after night. When she was born, she already knew his voice, I’m sure of it. Those simple moments created a bond between us all that I’ll be forever grateful for.

After she arrived, reading became a treasured bedtime routine for the three of us. Over the months, I realized something special was happening. We weren’t just reading books or learning words. We were making memories that would last a lifetime. 

There was never any pressure to finish a book or read every word on the page. Some nights, we were acting out a duckling waddling behind her mama to the school bus. In recent nights, we were listening to our daughter “read” the book to us, her little voice full of imagination. My heart was lit up brighter than I ever thought possible...

We could see the impact reading had on her development, her creativity, and her character. 

When our son was born, I knew I wanted a cozy space in our home where we could all cuddle up and read together. I created a little book wall just at the right height for our littles ones to reach in our playroom, and now it’s where we spend most of our time. Today, our son gets to watch his big sister read books to us, learning not only from us, but from what we've passed down to her.

This is when I realized I wanted to be part of something bigger.

Little Leaf Library was born because I wanted to bring joy-filled, memory-making books to your family too. Books that invite you to slow down, snuggle up, and connect with your kids in a way that truly lasts. I pack every box with love (and often with my little helpers beside me!). It’s more than a business.
